Chelsea Facing Queens Park Rangers with No Injury Concern

Premier league club Chelsea is going to face Queens Park Rangers tonight in the third round of Carling Cup 2009-10. Blues received a confidence booster as news out in the media suggests that Didier Drogba’s seemingly severe injury is nothing but a mere cramp. The Ivorian striker was limped off the field in the second half of Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur last Sunday.

There is some other good news too. First of all, long-term injured Joe Cole will return with the QPR match and this will be his first game since he picked up a knee ligament injury last January. Yuri Zhirkov has been suffering from a knee injury since his Summer move to Stamford Bridge.
