Argentina vs Peru Live Updates: 10 October 2009

Yesterday, I wrote that it may be the last big day for Diego Maradona as the coach of national football team of Argentina. I know that there are millions of fans of this team around the world and many of them are from Asia. They are eager to know about the time and venue. I am giving it here. First of all, let me talk about the time.
Date: 10 October 2009
Day: Saturday
Starting Time: 22:00 GMT
What about South Asian Time?
03:30 am Indian Standard Time (on 11 October)
05 AM Bangladesh Time (11 October 2009)
It is bad time for South Asian football viewers and that is why perhaps no TV channel in India will broadcast the match live. It is a great shame because in India and Bangladesh, there are several million crazy fans for Argentine National football team.
Anyway, now let us talk about the venue. It will take place in Estadio Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti- a very big name for a stadium. It has a seating capacity of 65,000 and I can bet that tomorrow, it will be totally filled up. The final match of World Cup Football 1978 was held here along with the opening match and some other matches. So, it is considered to be the most important Stadium in the country.
Argentine football team has a glorious history. From Sports37:
Winning All Three Major FIFA Recognized Tournaments (World Cup, Confederations Cup and Olympic Games Football)
This is an achievement that did not come through a single tournament; rather it came through different tournaments over the several years. Besides France, Argentina is the only other soccer team who won all of the three major FIFA tournaments including World Cup, Confederations Cup and Olympic football. Naturally, it is a big achievement for Argentina.

So, it will be a great shame if tomorrow, Maradona and Messi cannot inspire the team to win against Peru by a very big margin. We have to hope for the best really.
