Indian finance minister worried about huge budget deficit

Indian finance minister Pranab Mukherjee has expressed his concern about the huge budget deficit and say that it has reached to the highest level in the last 16 years. So, something must be done and this way cannot continue for a long time. The current forecast for budget deficit is that it will right 6.8 percent by March 2010. This is very shocking news because if this way continues then sooner or later Indian economy will suffer a disaster.
2009 has been a tough year for Indian economy because of economic recession. Indian government had to fund a lot of money for stimulus packages and it also made the condition worst.
The good thing is that 2010 is starting with a lot of hope and optimism that economic recession and its impact will be totally gone this year. If this happens then India will be again back to high economic growth.
