IGCAR recruitment 2010: Apply online

IGCAR recruitment 2010 is going on. Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) is reputed research center. It was established in 1971 under the Dept. of Atomic Energy. The center is working on developing Fast Breeder Reactor which is based on unique mixed Plutonium Uranium Carbide fuel. The center completed the design of 500 MWe Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor and construction is going on.

Scientific assistant “B” (36 posts)

Category I trainees (44 posts)

Category II trainees (4 posts)

Technician “B” (32 posts)

The last date for application submission is May 21, 2010. Applicants will have to pay Rs.50 through DD drawn in favor of “The Pay & Accounts Officer, IGCAR, Kalpakkam” and payable in SBI Bank/Canara Bank, Kalpakkam. For women, SC/ST candidates, Disabled Defense personnel and dependents of Defense Personnel killed in action and Ex-servicemen there is no required to pay the above fee. For the posts ofScientific Assistant “B”, Category – I Trainees, Technician “B” and Category – II Trainees, there is no need to pay fee. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and interview.
