Honda launched Unicorn Dazzler 150cc motorcycle in India

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India launched Honda Unicorn Dazzler, the new 150cc bike in India. It is a brand new edition in the Unicorn series. Honda will also continue to sell its old model, Honda Unicorn, which is cheaper than the new Honda Unicorn Dazzler.
The launching ceremony took place in New Delhi. Atsushi Amataka, President Research and Development Honda India, Shinji Aoyama, Chief Executive Officer Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India and Group Vice President Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Kawatsu Toshio were present at the launching ceremony.
Honda said that the 150cc segment in the Indian motorcycle grew more than two-fold in the last three year and would continue to grow at the same rate. The new Unicorn would help the company to get more market share in future. The new Honda Unicorn Dazzler will compete with Yamaha FZ16, Bajaj Pulsar 150 and TVS Apache.
Honda showcased the Unicorn Dazzler at the 2010 Delhi Auto Expo. The motorcycle measures 2073mm in length, 1085mm in height, and 162mm in ground clearance. The bike sports a 12-liter fuel tank and comes in four colors- red, black, golden and silver.
Other features include digital speedometer, analog tachometer with illuminated needle, electric start, alloy wheels, disc brakes on front and rear tyre.
Honda Unicorn Dazzler uses a single cylinder 150cc engine which generates a maximum power of 14bhp and a maximum torque of 1.3 Kg-m. It has a top speed of 12 km/h. The Unicorn Dazzler is a Bharat Stage III compliant bike with a fuel efficiency of 60 kmpl.
Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler is priced at Rs.62,900. The old Honda Unicorn is priced at Rs. 52,985.
