IIT JEE Results 2010 published in website

The IIT Joint Entrance Examination Results 2010 has been declared on Internet. Students can check the results at official website of different IIT institutions such as IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, IIT Bombay websites.

To know their results, candidates would have to enter their application number or registration number.

The IIT JEE exam is held to admit students in undergraduate Engineering courses in IIT Institutions located in Mumbai, Kanpur, Delhi, Chennai, Kharagpur, Guwahati, Roorkee, Varanasi and ISM Dhanbad.

This year, the IIT JEE was held on April 11, 2010. About 4.72 lakh students appeared in the exam. The exam is highly competitive. Only 10,000 seats are available. Anumula Jithendar Reddy from IIT Madras region topped the admission test.

Declaration of results: May 26, 2010

On-line filling of choices open for the qualified candidates: May 27 to June 09, 2010

Medical examination and counseling for qualified PD candidates: June 09-11, 2010

(the schedule will be announced on the IIT websites)

SC/ST/PD/DS Counseling: June 09-10, 2010

OBC Counseling: June 10-12,2010

Last date of receipt of filled and duly signed choice sheets: June 17, 2010

Architecture / Design Aptitude Test: June 10, 2010

Website release of course allocation: June 28, 2010
