Australia vs USA Live on Different TV Channels: Warm up Match 2010

Australia and USA are going to face each other in a warm-up match on 5 June at the Ruimsig Stadium, Johannesburg. The significance of the match to both teams lies in the fact that this is going to be their last warm up match before they begin their World Cup campaign.

So, both tams are looking to sort out their problems in the match ahead of the World Cup finals. Australia has been impressive in their last few friendly games, but coach Pim Verbeek would still love to have a final look on his squad. Australia recently defeated Indonesia and New Zealand in friendly matches.

This is going to be Pim Verbeek’s last assignment with the Socceroos. So, he would definitely like to make the tournament remarkable. Australia’s best World Cup performance came four years back in Germany when they made it to the round of 16 where they were beaten by Italy 1-0. So, Verbeek now expect his boys to outshine their previous tournament’s performance in South Africa.

USA has not been that much impressive recently, but coach Bob Bradley knows his side can do better in South Africa. USA returned to winning ways in their recent friendly affair against Turkey before heading to South Africa. Still, the coach would love to see his players before deciding his starting eleven for the opening game against England on 12 June.
