Dirk Kuyt Uncertain about Liverpool Future

Liverpool winger Dirk Kuyt seems to be uncertain about his future at Anfield and indicated that he may consider offers from other clubs after the end of the ongoing World Cup. The Dutch international now just wants to keep his focus on World Cup without thinking much about his club future.

There are reports out in the media linking him with a move to Inter Milan where he could reunite with former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez.

With Liverpool yet to announce the replacement of Benitez, it seems a number of Liverpool players have been linked with other European clubs including captain Steven Gerrard and star striker Fernando Torres.

Besides admitting that he is happy at Anfield, Dirk Kuyt has also revealed anything could happen in the future.

The 29-year-old said to the media. “We have to see what happens. I also have a great time at Liverpool and I still have a two-year contract. My focus is on the World Cup but I'm still happy to play at Liverpool.

But who knows what happens in the future? We have to see.

If the possibility is there... we have to see what happens with the new manager at Liverpool. Hopefully we'll get new players but we'll see what the future is for me.”

Liverpool is going through a very tough time both on and off the field. They finished 7th in the Premier League last season and is currently facing a huge financial debt.
