G-Fone 777: Price, Specifications and some information

On June 19, 2010, G-Fone launched, 777, a new low-priced phone in India. The phone is targeted towards people who are looking for some great features at a lower price.

G-Fone is a subsidiary of, Bright Telecom B.V. The company debuted in India in March 2010, with the launch of G-588.

The new G-Fone 777 is a dual-SIM mobile phone and costs Rs.5299. The phone is powered by a 208 MHz processor.

The most prominent feature of the phone is that it comes with an impressive 3.2 inch color WVGA touchscreen with 262k colors. This is quite big for a low end mobile phone. The user can use it in both horizontal and vertical screen.

The phone also has several built-in applications such as Nimbuzz, Opera Mini, Snaptu and Accu Weather. It has a document viewer (Excel, Word and PDF documents), RSS feed reader, widget menu and a photo editor. Users can also install additional Java based applications if necessary.

For sports lovers the phone offers ESPN Cricinfo, Live Football and lots more.

The black color body gives it a sleek look. The phone has a 3 megapixel camera with Flat touch lens. The media player of the phone can play a wide range of files including RMVB/MP4/3gp and MP3. It also supports Bluetooth and EDGE. It has a FM player and 3.5 mm radio jack.

The phone memory can store up to 2000 entries in 11 fields and 1000 SMS. It can be further expanded up to 8 GB via microSD.

Other features include, call recorder, mobile tracker, Indian calendar and private menu.
