NIT Trichy M Tech admission result 2010: Get from official website

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Trichy published the 2010 result of the first round allotment on June 29, 2010. Second round of allotment of the M Tech admission results will be declared on June 28, and the results of the 3rd round of allotment will be published on July 5, 2010.

For M.Tech programme, NIT selects candidates on the basis of merit obtained by candidates in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Final semester students with a valid score in GATE can also apply on the conditions that his/her final marks would be available on or before September 15, 2010 but these will be considered as provisional admission.

The candidates for provisional admission would have to include attested copies of mark sheets, bonafide certificate from the Head of the Institution, and the application form.

The National Institutes of Technology (NIT) are top engineering and technology institutions of India. Originally, called Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs) they were upgraded to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) in 2002 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
