Sevilla to AC Milan and Tottenham: Luis Fabiano not for Sale

AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur are highly interested to sign Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano. However, Sevilla has now confirmed they have no intention to sell their most important striker.

Jose Maria del Nido, the president of Sevilla, has made no secret of the club’s desire to keep hold on the player. He has even indicated that the club is currently ready to extend his current contract and the negotiations are going on at the moment.

However, the £20million-rated player is reportedly interested to move to AC Milan. The Serie A club tried to secure his service last summer too. Now, Tottenham Hotspur is also keen to grab his service and the North London club, offering Champions League football, is ready to make a lucrative offer for Fabiano.

Fabiano, 29, has been highly successful in Spanish La Liga since his move to Sevilla in 2005 from Porto. Luis Fabiano is now on international duty with Brazil in the ongoing World Cup in South Africa and has been Brazil’s first choice striker so far in the tournament.

Well-known as a promising goal scorer, Fabiano netted 62 goals in 127 La Liga appearances for Sevilla and 27 goals for Brazil in 40 caps. Though Sevilla has no plan to sell him, the player’s insistence could force them to come to the negotiation table.
