STAR Ananda is a Bengali news channel which shows news in Bengali language and it is very popular in the state of West Bengal.

STAR Ananda is a collaboration between STAR TV and Anandabazar Patrika. Star TV is a subsidiary of News Corporation. Currently, the STAR Ananda has more than 40% market share in Kolkata and West Bengal

STAR Ananda is a free-to-air 24 hour news channel distributed through satellite, cable, IPTV and DTT. The channel was launched on June 1, 2005. Headquartered in Kolkata the channel has a state-of-the-art production facilities and has extensive network for news coverage.
