Aamir Khan gets into Twitter his first message “Testing. Aamir”

After Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan, another big Bollywood star joined the world of Twitter. On June 29, 2010, Bollywood superstar, Aamir Khan joined the popular micro-blogging site.

And guess what, the superstar already earned 50,000 followers in two days. In Salman Khan’s case, it was his brother Arbaaz Khan, who convinced him to join Twitter. Guess who suggested Aamir Khan to join the micro-blogging site? It was none other than the great Amitabh Bachchan.

Recently, Aamir Khan attended a dinner with Amitabh Bachchan in London. There, he suggested Aamir to join Twitter. In his first Tweet, Aamir Khan wrote, “Testing. Aamir.” He then added, “ Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Love. Aamir.”

This was followed by a Tweet from Amitabh Bachchan which says, “Thank You. Aamir..” You give more due than I deserve.. Happy Tweeting.”

Aamir Khan is now busy with his upcoming project Peepli Live which deals with farmer suicides in India.

Peepli Live is directed by Anusha Rizvi. It is a satirical movie. When it comes to promote movies, Aamir Khan is considered as the master mind. In order to promote his Peepli Live, he created a 45-second teaser that pokes fun at his own promotional tactics.
