Bharti Airtel unveiled five story high mural in its Gurgaon office

On July 26, 2010, Sunil Bharti Mittal, Chairman and Managing Director, unveiled a 5 storey mural at the Airtel Center in Gurgaon.

The mural was created and conceptualized by Manav Gupta, a reputed Indian artist. More than 3,500 employees of Airtel co-created the mural which is why, this mural reflects the collective spirit, innovativeness and creativity of the employees of the company. The final stroke was given by Sunil Bharti Mittal.

The Airtel Center is a major landmark of the Gurgaon area in Mumbai. Spreading over 6, 85,921 sqft, it houses all the businesses of Bharti Group including mobile services, DTH, Enterprise and Telemedia.

Speaking on the occassion, Sanjay Kapoor, CEO, Bharti Airtel, India & South Asia, said, "The elements of nature have been woven together to capture the core values of Airtel and highlight the One Airtel Spirit. It is a true reflection of the collective approach & innovative minds of our company. We thank all the Airtel employees who participated in co-creating this mural with Manav Gupta, who has been the "Sutradhar" in channelizing our vision into this mega masterpiece."

The mural is spread over five floors and towers over 60 feet inside the building. The interior of the building has been used innovatively to lay out the mural.
