The 30-minute-long closing ceremony would see a number of international stars entertaining the football fans around the world. About 500 million people from 215 countries across the world are going to watch the closing ceremony live on television.
One of the biggest attractions of the FIFA World Cup 2010 closing ceremony is the performance of Colombian pop singer Shakira. The 33-year-old pop star would perform the ‘Waka Waka’ song which is the official anthem of World Cup Football 2010. She also sang this song in the opening ceremony of the tournament.
‘Waka Waka’ has been a mega hit internationally and has been no. 1 in music charts of 15 countries. In internet, this was the most viewed video in June with the song being viewed more than 85 million times on You Tube.
