Unfortunately, there is no Internet browser that supports Indian languages. Majority of the Internet users in India use Internet Explorer 6 which is an old browser and does not support many new features. In order to meet the needs of Indian Internet users, Epic Browser has come to the market.

Epic browser has been developed by a Bangalore based firm named Hidden Reflex. Epic browser is based on Mozilla and it is free to download. The biggest advantage of this browser is that it supports twelve different Indian languages including Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Bengali, Tamil, Malayalam, Urdu and Punjabi.

The makers of browser claim that it is the first Internet browser with antivirus. It scans your downloads automatically. User can also manually scan his or her computer with the browser. It will provide warning if the user access any website containing malwares.

The browser has more than 1500 themes based on India and Indian wallpapers. It has faster download speed and browsing capability and does not store users’ browsing data that could be later accessed by others. It also provides anti-Phishing protection which means users can safely access their bank accounts sitting at their homes. It ensures one-click private data deletion. The browser also offers one-click private browsing.

Epic browser also has an integrated Flash cookie deletion system. It has a sidebar which user can edit according to his need. With the sidebar he can access news, videos and pictures.
