Indian Bank Online application Form and Registration

Indian Bank Recruitment 2010 is going on. The bank is looking for clerks. Interested candidates would have to apply online. Online registration will start from June 7, 2010 and will continue till July 6, 2010.

Total number of vacancies is 685.

On August 22, 2010, a written test will be held and candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written test. Selected candidates would be offered a salary of Rs. 7,200 to Rs. 19,300.

Candidates must be within the age of 18-28 years as on January 1, 2010. Candidates must have minimum educational qualification up to 12th class with 50% marks. Graduates can also apply for the post and they should have degree from any recognized institution. Candidates must know how read/write/speak English and official language of the state applied and knowledge of computer is very much necessary. Applicants will have to pay Rs.50(SC/ST) & Rs.300(all others).

Indian Bank is a state-run bank. It was established on August 15, 1907 as part of Swadeshi movement. Currently, the bank is serving India through its 1756 branches all over India and 19,000 dedicated staff. As on March 31, 2010, the bank’s business crossed Rs. 1,50,886 crores and operating profit increased to Rs. 2747.35 crores. Net profit increased to Rs.1554.99 crores.
