LG Cookie Zip aka LG 510 launched in India

Recently, LG launched LG Cookie Zip aka LG 510. It is the latest handset in LG Cookie line-up. Earlier, the company launched two mid-level touch screen handsets- LG Cookie Fresh GS 290 and LG Cookie Plus GS500v. The phone is targeted at CDMA users and it will be launched by Reliance Telecom.

The LG Cookie Zip measures 107 mm x 55.4 mm x 11.9 mm and weighs 90gm. It sports a 3-inch touchscreen with 262k colors.

The Cookie Zip has a 2 megapixel camera with 2X digital zoom. It has 72 MB integrated memory which can be expanded up to 4GB via microSD. The phonebook can hold up to 1000 entries.

Other features include music player, media player, video recording, speaker, voice recorder, Bluetooth, Reliance Mobile World and Reliance Netconnect, airplane mode, alarm Clock, calculator, organizer, calendar, world clock, games. Pre-installed apps include- Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and Orkut.

The Cookie Zip also has a fast download speed allowing the users to watch Live TV suing the EVDO (Evolution Data Optimized) platform.

The LG Cookie Zip or LG510 sports a 900 mAh Li-Ion battery and has a standby time of 150 hours and talk time of 5 hours. The phone is priced at Rs 8,299.
