Luis Fabiano Wants to Join Tottenham Hotspur

Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano has recently indicated his desire to join Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur. The Sevilla striker has attracted interest from a number of European clubs like Manchester United, Inter Milan, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur following his good show in the World Cup with Brazil.

However, the 29-year-old earlier said that he would leave Sevilla only for a big club like Manchester United or Inter Milan. So, the clubs like City and Tottenham gave up on their attempts to secure his service. But, seeing no serious attempt from United or Inter, Fabiano seems to have found interest in a move to Tottenham Hotspur who can offer Champion League football for him.

The Brazilian scored 3 goals in 5 matches in the World Cup 2010 and his recent form with Sevilla is pretty much impressive. So, Sevilla is naturally reluctant to lose their hold on the striker who scored 62 goals in 127 La Liga matches for Sevilla since joining the club in a move away from Porto in 2005.

Fabiano has now reportedly requested Tottenham to make official bid for him and he is ready to move to North London. Tottenham Hotspur finished fourth last season and clinched a place for the Champions League this season.
