Samsung has introduced two smartphone models for Bangladeshi consumers. Just like neighboring India , Bangladesh is becoming an attractive market for mobile phone companies. The number of people with a disposable income is growing and Samsung is aiming to target that market segment with its smartphone sets.
Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Wave are now available in the Bangladeshi market. The price of Galaxy S is Tk 46,900 while Wave will be sold at Tk 32,500.
According to a report of The Daily Star, Kanghyun Lee, managing director of Samsung Electronics Dhaka branch was present at the launching ceremony.
Mr. Lee said, "Built on the Android 2.1 Éclair OS, the Galaxy S has a 5.0 megapixel AF camera with a built-in-memory of 16 gigabyte. Its MicroSD is expandable up to 32GB.
This phone promises a future beyond experience for you that empowers you to live smarter, work better and play harder."
