Gayatri Reddy in Charge of Deccan Chargers in IPL 2010?

It was the day of IPL 2010 auction and Gayatri Reddy was in charge of Deccan Chargers. Her father T Venkatram Reddy is the owner of the club and her father was not in the auction today. Instead, it was Gayatri Reddy who was there to fight for getting right players. Her brother was also there to help her. I really could not find whether Gayatri Reddy was successful in buying any new player or not but from Google Trends India, I found out that many people want to know about her.

Now, I found that yes, she was successful in getting Kemar Roach for $718,716. That is a lot of money to spend on a young player. However, they are current champion of IPL and that is why, they don’t need a lot of new players.

What is interesting to me is that today, people were more curious about Gayatri Reddy than some of the BOllywood actresses. I guess that we will see more of her in IPL 2010 matches.
