GATE 2010 results will declared on March 15th

GATE 2010 results will be announced on March 15, 2010 at 10:00 hours at GATE office and on its official websites. To know your result, visit:

The score would be valid for two years from the date of announcement. If any organization wants to know about the GATE result then it would be disclosed on payment. In addition, details of the results can be obtained from GATE Chairmen of IITC or IISC. Students submit their answers on “machine-gradable Optical Response Sheets (ORS),” which are carefully graded and there is no scope for re-grading and re-totaling. No photocopies of the sheets will be made available and no correspondence in this regard will be accepted.


The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Science. The test takes place in the Indian Institute of Science, located in Bangalore and Indian Institute of Technology located in Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee. Aside from getting admitted to post graduate programmes, those who qualify through GATE, can also apply to Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), and various government scholarship/assistantship at engineering colleges/institutes in India.
