Miss India Earth 2005 Niharika Singh will be in Miss Lovely

Former beauty pageant, Niharika Singh, will be seen in Miss Lovely, a movie which explores the Indian porn industry in the 1980s. The movie is based on a real life person named Rajesh Singh alias Bunty, who controlled a major part of the Indian porn business in the 80s. Miss Lovely also features Nawaz Siddiqui, who did movies like Firaaq and NewYork. Nawaz Siddiqui plays a character who wants to rescue a girl from the porn industry.

Niharika Singh was born in Haridwar. Her father is a senior tourism official in Uttaranchal state and her mother is the director of a fashion design university. Niharika Singh did her schooling in Dehradun. Later, Niharika Singh attended Lady Shriram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. She studied there for one year and during that time, she started her modeling career. As a model, Niharika Singh did few TV commercials including Milk n Roses soap, Sony Wega, Samsung, Asian Paints, Vagh Bakri tea etc. Her print ads include Unitech, Samsung, and Oasis Telecom. Niharika Singh participated in Pond’s Femina Miss India 2005 and won the Miss India Earth 2005 title. She also signed up two movies with famous music composer, Himesh Reshammiya. One of the movies titled A Love Iiiisshtory will be directed by John Matthew Matthan and written by Vipul K Rawal of Iqbal fame.
