I am literately shocked at the price of Hilsha fish here. Depending on the size, the price of one KG Hilsha is from 1200-2500 Taka ($17-35$). I find it some difficult to understand the tradition of eating Hilsha in Pohela Boishakh because the season of this fish is rainy season (June-July) not April.
The main celebration in Dhaka will place in and around
. In the morning, thousands of people will go to Dhaka University to listen to the music of Chhayanat. Ramna Park
