Laila Mahmood is the step daughter of Vijay Mallya. You know that Vijay Mallya is the owner of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team n Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket. It is now shown in NDTV Live that Laila Mahmood has been questioned by Income Tax Department. NDTV also informed that she works for IPL chief Lalit Modi. It seems that the whole Shashi Tharoor controversy is going to continue for another few days. If this report is true then things look some grim for Lalit Modi.
Right now, Indian Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee is perhaps looking at whole matte of IPL Kochi bidding.
