An action packed Telugu movie, Simha released in theatres today. The movie revolves around Sriman Narayana played by Balakrishna, an honest college lecturer, who can not stand injustice and beat up anyone he wants. Narayana’s grandmother (K R Vijaya) is worried for her grandson as she can not stand violence. The story takes another twist when Janaki (Sneha) comes in. She joins the same college where Narayana teaches but she has her own story. Her brother’s killer is her groom and she escaped from the house on the day of her wedding and now, that killer is stalking her. As the story unfolds, it seems that the killer and his father also wants revenge from Balakrishna.

In this movie, Balakrishna played dual role. Balakrishna is now desperate for a hit. His last hit movie, Lakshmi Narasimha, was released in 2004. Later, Vijayendra Varma, Allari Pidugu, Veerabhadra, Maharadhi, OkkaMagadu, Mitrudu did poorly. Pandurangadu got mixed reviews but it failed to impress the audience.

Simha is typical action movie with average script but the songs and background music is very much entertaining. Here is a video clip of the movie.
