Comedk UGET results 2010 available on website

The Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) result 2010 by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” (COMEDK) has been announced.

On May 9, 2010, COMEDK conducted separate entrance test for admission in Medical/Dental and Engineering Under-Graduate courses such as MBBS, BDS and B.E. There were exam on three subjects- Physics and Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. The test is used to determine the merit of students by the member institutions of COMEDK. The scores will be valid for academic year 2010-2011.

The COMEDK has been formed by the Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association, and Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association with an aim to conduct a fair selection procedure.

The state of Karnataka is located in the southern part of India. It is bordered by Arabian Sea to the west, Goa to the northwest, Maharashtra to the north, Andhra Pradesh to the east, Tamil Nadu to the southeast and Kerala to the southwest.

The state was created on November 1, 1956 under the States Reorganization Act. Previously, it was known as the State of Mysore. In 1973, it was renamed Karnataka.

Karnataka covers an area of 74, 112 m2 making it the eighth largest state in India and the ninth largest state by population. The state consists of 29 districts and Kannada is its official language.
