Spice S7000 mobile phone in India: Price and specifications

Spice Mobiles launched the Spice S7000 in India. Few months ago, Spice Mobiles also launched its 12 megapixel camera phone, the S 1200.

The S 7000 has been pitched as a video phone. Naveen Paul, Head of Marketing, Spice Mobiles, said, "It is the only phone in the market that plays all video file formats without the hassle of user having to convert videos to a particular file format. S 7000 also comes with support for Dolby sound".

The Spice S 7000 comes with many interesting feature. It has a 3.2 inch WQVGA screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera and unlimited phone book entries.

Mr. Paul told reporters that the company partnered up with Disney to provide various contents to its Spice S 7000 phone. Spice S-7000 will come pre-loaded with new Disney movie, Prince of Persia-Sands of Time.

Disney would also provide mobile themes, wallpapers, screen savers and ringtones related to Prince of Persia. Disney would further continue the deal depending on market responds to the content.

Spice is planning to launch a TV commercial to promote Prince of Persia content on other spice mobile phone sets.

Other major features of the Spice S 7000 includes in-built 19 MB memory that can be expanded up to 16 GB through a T-Flash memory card, video playing capability @ 15 fps and supporting a wide range of video formats including RMVB, FLV, WMV, AVI, MP4, 3GP, MOV, DAT and RM. It also supports 720P videos as well.
