AC Milan Now Interested in Joe Cole: Transfer Rumor

AC Milan has been the latest name in the list of possible destinations of England midfielder Joe Cole. The former Chelsea winger is now out of contract and is now looking for a new club and there are some Premier League clubs who are currently trying to sign him.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are currently in the race of securing his service. Earlier, Manchester United and Manchester City were also interested to land him in the summer transfer window. However, Manchester United recently made it clear that they were not going to sign Joe Cole.

It is interesting that AC Milan is the only non-English club who has shown interest in Joe Cole. He has attacking intent playing on the left wing and the ability to contribute to his team’s attack.

So, it is surprising that not many clubs outside England are interested in him, even though he is a free agent and is still 28 and got the talent. May be the injury that forced him out of action for a long time last season has made the clubs doubtful about the feasibility of impact he could make for them.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has insistently revealed his desire of reuniting with his former West Ham student. Arsenal is also in the race, but they are not that much interested to meet Cole’s wage demand. Now that AC Milan has joined the race, it seems the midfielder has a number of options to choose from ahead of the next season.
