Apple iPhone 4 is coming to India in September

Good news for smart phone users of India. Apple iPhone 4, latest edition of Apple iPhone, is coming to India in September 2010.

The 16GB iPhone 4 would cost Rs. 35,500 while the 32GB version will be priced at Rs.41,500.

On June 7, 2010, Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, unveiled the Apple iPhone 4 at the Apple World Wide Developers’ Conference. Taking pre-orders for iPhone 4 started from June 15, 2010. On that the website of Apple and AT&T crushed due to huge web traffic. So many people wanted to get their hands on the latest iPhone.

Finally, the Apple iPhone 4 has been released in the U.S. and Europe on June 24, 2010. On the first day of launch, there was huge frenzy among people. There was long cue in front of Apple stores.

On the first day, 1.5 million units of iPhone 4 have been sold. In addition, Apple received 600,000 pre-orders. The pre-ordered phones will rich stores in July.

The new iPhone 4 is lighter and thinner than its predecessor and more powerful. The phone comes with many new features including an improved display, multi-tasking capability, video-calling capability and more.

The new iPhone measures 4.5 inches x 2.31 inches x 0.37 inch and weighs 4.8 ounces. It is powered by Apple A4 chip which also used in Apple iPad.
