Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger is targeting Renat Yanbayev

Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger is very active in the summer transfer market of 2010 and there has been some media reports that he is now interested about Locomotive Moscow midfield player    Renat Yanbayev. Renat Yanbayev is 26-year-old and he has also played for Russian national team. In fact, he has made nine appearances for the national team.
According to a report of the Daily Mail, Arsene Wenger is interested to bring this player at the Emirates Stadium before the beginning of the next season. At Locomotive Moscow club, Renat Yanbayev has played in 80 matches. However, he is yet to score any goal in these 80 matches and it shows that more of a defensive midfielder.
There is strong possibility that the main person of Arsenal’s midfield and their captain Cesc Fàbregas is leaving the club within a few days or few weeks. So, Arsene Wenger is trying his best to bring some quality players in the squad.
There is also some possibility that Gael Clichy will leave the club before the beginning of the next season. Clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus are interested to get this French international football player. Gael Clichy plays in the left side and most probably Wenger is thinking Renat Yanbayev as a replacement for Clichy
