Live Score

Football fans can get the live score of the match from the following website address:

It is a friendly match, but it has huge significance for both sides, though for different reasons. Australian players would like to impress coach Pim Verbeek before he reduce the 28-man squad to 23 just after the match. It is believed that Verbeek perhaps already know who would make the final cut, but still players would love to strengthen their claim for a place in the final squad.

Danish players, however, know that they are going to represent their county in the World Cup finals in South Africa. Still, the match is significant for Denmark as players would like to show their best in their pursuit of clinching a place in the starting eleven.

Australia starts their World Cup mission on 13 June with the match against Germany. In Group D, Australia will also face Ghana and Serbia. Denmark’s World Cup campaign begins on 14 June when they would face Netherlands in their tournament opener in Group E which also includes Cameroon and Japan.

Both sides have been in good form. Australia recently defeated New Zealand 2-1 in Melbourne, and thus, winning 4 out of their last 5 matches. Denmark also clinched two back to back wins over United States and Austria recently.

Both the coaches would like to see the current condition of the players as well as sort out the problems regarding formation. Fans are expecting a highly entertaining match, even though it is nothing but a friendly affair.
