Zimbabwe may have a good start to the tournament, but they were outshined by Sri Lanka in the second game. Following a winning start against India, Zimbabwe’s performance was disappointing against Sri Lanka who just days before were outperformed by the Indians.

Indian team seems to have regained the lost confident with a 7-wicket victory over Sri Lanka. India would like to continue the momentum against Zimbabwe on Thursday. A victory over Zimbabwe would take them on the verge of progressing to the tournament final.

Zimbabwe, on the other hand, knows that another defeat would bring its final hopes almost to an end. Zimbabwe needs to improve on their batting as well as bowling performances against Sri Lanka. Except Hamilton Masakadza, no other Zimbabwe batsmen could show any resistance against Sri Lanka, while their bowlers looked helpless against Dilshan.

Indian pacers got their rhythm back against Sri Lanka, but still they were not dominating. Pragyan Ojha has boost up their spin attack which also includes Amit Mishra and Jadeja.

In batting, India’s middle order looks solid in the presence of Rohit Sharma, Kohli and Raina. However, India must worry for their opening pair Mulari Vijay and Dinesh Karthik who failed to get runs in the first two games.
