Katrina Kaif loves rain and plans to open a film marketing firm

Bollywood’s top actress, Katrina Kaif, is having a busy schedule and she is missing the rain of Mumbai.

Many of you might not know but Katrina is a big lover of rain. She loves the smell of wet earth on a rainy day and cold wind. At night Katrina Kaif gets out and feels the raindrops on her face.

Katrina Kaif is now busy shooting Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi in Spain and she is telling every body how badly she misses the rain of Mumbai.

After Spain, Katrina Kaif will go to London to work with Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham in Dostana 2.

Aside from working in movies, Katrina Kaif is also planning to start her own business firm. She said, “I definitely want to start the film marketing division at the earliest. I’m basically seeking the guidance of my friends and colleagues about this and how to go about it. Film marketing has always intrigued me as it’s both exciting and challenging to see how a strategy to sell the product in the market and even to the audiences is made.”

So why movie marketing? Katrina Kaif said that her decision came from her love for numbers. Katrina Kaif says that she has a very sharp memory and remembers collection data of movies by heart. This helps her to know which films are really doing well at the box office. She believes that she can bring “highly professional attitude” looking forward to hire experienced people who would help her.

She further said that film marketing is very important these days because every week, more than one movie is hitting the theatres and there is also Hollywood movies. In this highly competitive film industry, where collection on opening weekend makes lots of difference, film marketing plays a very important role. It helps to make a film stand out from others.

The actress is hunting for a suitable location for her office. She said that she is looking for a property between Bandra and Andheri.
