The Pearl Delhi Couture Week is coming in July

The Pearl Delhi Couture Week (PDCW) hosted by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) will be held at the Grand Hotel in Vasant Kunj from July 20-25. The show will be sponsored by Pearls Group.

Nineteen designers will showcase their works in the event. FDCI already hosted two editions of the HDIL India Couture Week in Mumbai. The third edition will be held later this year.

FDCI President, Sunil Sethi said, “The event will have a host of 13 top notch designers showcasing their designs on ramp. Meanwhile, six other designers have been shortlisted who will showcase their designs as part of the installation. As for the splitting of shows, there will be two shows everyday - one at 8 pm followed by the other at 9 pm, while one of these will have an off-site show. ”

Designers who would showcase their works on the runway are: Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla; Anamika Khanna; AZA presents Manish Malhotra, Gaurav Gupta, JJ Valaya,

Manav Gangwani, Pallavi Jaikishan, Raakesh Agarvwal, Rina Dhaka, Rohit Bal, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Suneet Varma and Varun Bahl.

The special installations will be designed by Ekru by Ekta & Ruchira; Geisha designs by Paras & Shalini; Jaya Rathore; Monapali, Reynu Taandon, and Satya Paul.
