Samsung B7722 Duos: A phone that has Dual-SIM and 3G

Samsung announced its latest mobile phone,Samsung B7722 Duos, which supports dual-SIM and 3G. The Samsung B7722 duos is a high end dual-SIM phone which was launched in Sweden for SEK4000 but soon it will be available in India. The phone is priced at 420 Euro which means that the phone would cost Rs. it will be Rs 23, 711 in India.

In India, dual-SIM mobile phones are very much popular. Currently, there are everal low-end handset makers like Micromax, Spice, Lava that produce cheap dual-SIM handsets.

The Samsung B7722 Duos measures 113.5 mm x 55.5 mm x 14.3 mm and weighs 112 grams. It is the first dual-SIM phone that supports 3G bands (900/1200Hz).

The phone sports a 3.2 inch WQVGA touchscreen with 256K colors and has a 240X400 resolution. It also has Samsung’s proprietary TouchWiz user interface.

The handset comes with 5 megapixel camera with LED flash that can capture images of 2592Ñ…1944 resolution. It can also record videos at 2592Ñ…1944 resolution at 30fps.

The Samsung B7722 duos has an internal memory of 200 MB which can be expanded up to 8GB via microSD card. Its call log can keep 30 logs each of missed, received and dialed calls. The phone book can save up to 1000 entries.

Other features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, push email, social networking, SMS, MMS, Email, IM, RSS, FM recording, Google maps, mobile tracking, organizer, document viewer, voice memo and T9. Users can also play and download various JAVA games.

The phone media player supports MP3, WAV, WMA, eAAC+, MP4, H.263 and H.264.

The Samsung B7722 Duos is powered by a standard 1200 mAh Li-Ion battery which provides up to 420 hours of standby time and 12.50 hours of talk time.
