Aamir Khan would perform on Madhumati song in Dhobi Ghaat

In the directorial debut of his wife, Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan is going to include a song from Madhumati, a hit Indian movie of the 50s directed by Bimal Roy. Fans of Aamir Khan would see their favorite hero performing on the tunes of “Tadap Ke Kaha Raha Hai Aa Bhi Jaa.”

The song “Tadap Ke Kaha Raha Hai Aa Bhi Jaa” was sung by legendary playback singer, Lata Mangeshkar and Mukesh.

Madhumati was released in 1958. The movie stars Dilip Kumar and Vyjayantimala. A master-piece of Indian cinema, Madhumati deals with reincarnation and influenced many movies in the coming years.

Aamir Khan’s production house is talking with Rinki Bhattacharya, daughter of Bimal Roy, to give away the rights to use the famous melody of the song “Tadap Ke Kaha Raha Hai Aa Bhi Jaa” in Madhumati.

Rinky Bhattacharya confirmed the news and said that they were in talks with Aamir Khan and he is very keen to include the song and they have no problem to give the right for a one-time use.

In Bollywood, Aamir Khan is known for his exceptional way of thinking. In Dhobi Ghaat, the actor will don the role of a painter who lives and works in a tiny apartment in Bhendi Bazar. The movie also stars Prateik Babbar and Monica Dogra.

Aamir Khan feels that this song would enhance the scene.
