Christina Mclarty is the fiancée of Girls Gone Wild producer Joe Francis

Christina McLarty, a local news personality of Los Angeles, got engaged to Joe Francis of Girls Gone Wild fame.

McLarty is the niece of Bill Clinton’s former White House chief of staff Mack McLarty. She currently works an entertainment report at LA’s CBS2/KCAL9. Prior to joining CBS2 McLart worked as TV reporter and correspondent in Dallas and in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Christina McLarty attended New York University. She majored in Broadcast Journalism and English. During her college years in New York city she served as an intern for MTV, E! and Senator Hillary Clinton.

Christina also served as Associate Fashion Editor to Gear Magazine and conducted fashion interviews for “Fashion File” on E! Entertainment.

She also interviewed famous political personalities such as Bill Clinton, May Rudolph Giulianin, Diane Sawyer, Clint Eastwood, Warren Beatty and Annette Benning.

Joseph R. “Joe” Francis is an American entrepreneur. He founded Mantra Films Inc. which produces the Girls Gone Wild and Guys Gone Wild DVD series.

Francis sold his first video through commercials. It was a series of private clips and deleted footage from news reports showing different fatal accidents. They were never shown to the audience for being too graphic in nature. The video was titled “Banned From Television” and it became a commercial success.

In one of the videos, Francis licensed, showed female college student showing their breasts during Mardi Gras and Spring Break. This gave him the idea of making a DVD series called Girls Gone Wild. Later, he stopped licensing and started to produce himself.

In 1997, at the age of 24, Francis founded Mantra films.
