Foradian Technologies introduces free downloadable Rupee symbol

By this time, all of you know about the new symbol of Indian Rupee that has been introduced by the Indian government on July 15, 2010. There is another good news. A software firm named Foradian Technologies released a font of the Indian rupee that can be used anywhere from now on.

This is the official blog of Foradian Technologies. Immediately after the symbol had been released by the government, the firm released vector, EPS, Photoshop and Illustrator files of the new symbol on July 15, 2010. The next day, Foradian released font with Rupee symbols version 2.0.

On July 18, 2010, the company released a new version of the Rupee font. The previous font did not contain glyphs for letters from A to Z but this font contains all letters.

After you download the font, you would have to install the font and then start using it. You would get all the necessary information at the blog.
