Karnataka SSLC supplementary results 2010 get from website

The Karnataka Education board announced the results of the SSLC supplementary exams on July 14, 2010. The SSLC supplementary exams were held in June 2010. Around 8,35,0000 students set for the SSLC exam. Students who failed in the SSLC exams sat for the supplementary exam

Karnataka is an Indian state, located in the southern part of India. Previously, it was named Mysore. The state covers an area of 74, 122 sq miles making it the eighth largest state of India in terms of area and the ninth largest by population. The state comprises of 30 districts. Kannada is the official language of the state and Bangalore is the capital.

The State was created on November 1, 1956 with the passing of the States Reorganization Act. It was renamed Karnataka in 1973.

There several etymologies for the name Karnataka. In Kannada language “Karu” and “Nadu” together means elevated land. “Karu” “Nadu” can also refer to the black cotton soil found in the Bayaluseeme region of Karnataka. The British also used the word “Carnatic” to describe both sides of the peninsular India located south of the Krishna River.
