Given his quality, Sneijder could be a very good replacement for either of the two. His creativity as a midfielder could be very effective to get the best out of Wayne Rooney. In fact, Sneijder and Rooney could form a lethal attack for United.
Wesley Sneijder played a key role behind Inter Milan’s treble success last season. The 26-year-old joined the Serie A club last summer in a move away from Real Madrid and impressed his new employer in his debut season.
Inter Milan has been so much impressed by the Dutch that they have recently offered him a two-year contract extension with an improved salary. Wesley Sneijder’s current contract would expire in 2013, but Inter Milan wants to secure his service till 2015.
Though there are a number of suitors to grab his service, Wesley Sneijder has not said anything on it yet.
