Mario Balotelli: A Target of Manchester Untied and City

It seems there is no letting off in Mario Balotelli’s transfer saga. The Inter Milan prodigy has been linked with a number of clubs over the last couple of months, but his final destination has not been decided yet.

At the moment, two same-city Premier League rivals, Manchester United and Manchester City, are tracking the 19-year-old Italian striker who is rated very highly in Italy due to his immense talent and potential.

However, Mario Balotelli has disciplinary problems. Former manager Jose Mourinho and some of his senior teammates questioned his attitude and Mourinho dropped him from the Inter Milan squad on a number of occasions during the last season.

So, Inter Milan is also reportedly interested to get rid of him and is looking to make some quick cash in on the player. The Italian and European champions have recently put a £30 million price tag on Mario Balotelli who could not yet cement his place in the regular starting line up of Inter Milan and is yet to get a call up from Italy national team.

Inter’s exorbitant valuation of the player means the club now wants to get the maximum out of a Mario Balotelli’s image as a future star. The player’s agent would very soon talk to the officials of both Manchester United and City regarding a possible deal.

Besides the two Premier League clubs, some other European clubs are also interested to secure the service of Balotelli who made 59 league appearances for Inter Milan since his debut with the club’s senior team in 2007 and scored 20 goals.
