Mesut Ozil is heading to Chelsea or Real Madrid?

Mesut Ozil of German national football team has become one of hottest properties in the transfer market this season. His performance at World Cup 2010 has turned a lot of heads among European clubs. Now, it seems that Chelsea and Real Madrid might enter into a bitter race to get him.
There is an interesting aspect of this race. The current Real Madrid coach José Mourinho used to be the coach of Chelsea and he did not have a very happy farewell from the London based club. So, naturally, José Mourinho is eager to fight Chelsea in any way possible.
Now, José Mourinho has the backing of Real Madrid coffer. Chelsea boss Roman Abramovich is also ready with good amount of money. So, from this tug of war, Mesut Ozil’s current club may get benefited and may get the money that they are hoping by selling him.
Of course, Werder Bremen is eager to keep him but the player is not anyway interested to stay. He wants to join EPL or La Liga.
Chelsea and Real Madrid are not the only clubs interested about him. It was reported in the media that Manchester United is ready with £25 million offer. Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger is too much interested about him. Tottenham coach would like to have him too.
So, it may not become a two horse race after all to get Mesut Ozil. It is not clear that which club the hot favorite is to get his signature at this moment. It is however clear that Werder Bremen will sell him this Summer or else he may become a free agent next year.
