Mugdha Godse is now the talk of town with her upcoming movie, Help. She is among the increasing number of Bollywood actresses who rose to prominence through modeling and then turned to acting. Actresses like Aishwarya Bachchan, Sushmita Sen, Tanushree Dutta, Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta turned to acting from modeling.
Mugdha Godse started her acting career in 2008 by doing a supporting character in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion Hindi movie. She played the role of a small time model named Janet. For her role, she picked up Star Screen Awards for Best Supporting Actress, Filmfare Awards Best Female Debut, and Stardust Awards Breakthrough Performance Female. Fashion was followed by All The Best: Fun Begins, and Jail.
Her upcoming movie, Help is a horror movie. For the first time, Mugdha Godse did doing a horror flick and it is also her first movie with Bobby Deol. Her character named Pia, wife of a successful horror movie director, Vic (Bobby Deol), gets possessed by demon.
Mugdha Godse is very much excited about the film and said that her role in the movie would be a big boost in her acting career. She said, "There would be a lot of shades that would be seen in my character. In a single film, there would be different Mugdhas that the audience would get to see."
In the movie Mugdha Godse also wore bikini in a song which already caught the attention of the movie goers and they liked it very much.
