Netherlands vs Spain: A Challenge for Robin van Persie of Arsenal

Now, every football fan is waiting for the Netherlands vs Spain final match of World Cup 2010. This match will crown a new champion in World Football as neither Spain nor Netherlands have won this prestigious trophy before. It will be a big challenge for Dutch striker Robin van Persie to silence his critic an show something outstanding.
Robin van Persie is a very influential striker for Arsenal in English Premier League. However, when it comes to the national team, his performance in World Cup 2006, Euro 2008 and the current World Cup 2010 is not upto the same level like EPL. In fact, this time in South Africa, he has just scored one goal in the six matches.
His lone goal of the tournament was however a very important one as he helped Netherlands to win against Cameron 2-1.
Anyway, he is hungry for success and he has already got the support of his coach Bert van Marwijk.
Bert van Marwijk said to the media, "Robin has really improved during the last few matches and I still have a lot of confidence in him. He will show his best football in the coming match.
Robin is a quality player. We saw some things against Uruguay but in this World Cup it is very difficult for strikers to score goals, get some space and create chances."
It is good to know that his coach is behind him. Recently, Robin van Persie has stated that he wished to become champion of the World just like Diego Maradona. He has just the opportunity infront of him in the Netherlands vs Spain final match of World Cup 2010.
