Samsung Galaxy i899 first Android CDMA phone price and specifications in India

Reliance Communication announced Samsung Galaxy i899, India’s first CDMA phone on Android platform. At the moment, Reliance did not disclose pricing and availability of the phone.

The Samsung Galaxy i899 measures 116.5 mm x 56.4 mm x 12.8 mm and weighs 126.4 g. It is a bar shaped phone. The phone sports a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash and auto focus.

The Samsung Galaxy i899 sports a 3.2" AMOLED display with a 320x480 resolution. It also has 16million color. The phone has an integrated memory of 4GB which can be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.

The Galaxy i899 comes with 1440 mAh Lithium Ion battery. It has a 588 hours of standby time and 6.7 hours of talk time.

Other features include music player, media player supporting DivX video playback, auto focus, flash, video recording, speaker, voice recorder, Bluetooth (HSP/A2DP), Wi-Fi, USB, PC synchronisation, alarm clock, calculator, calendar, MP3 Ringtones, Hindi SMS, T9/Predicttive Text, MMS, email, Push & Pull mail service, Internet browser, 3-way call conference, GPS.

The phone comes with various applications including Orkut, Facebook,Gmail,

Googletalk, and GoogleMap.
