Three Reasons Loic Remy Should Move to West Ham United

French striker Loic Remy has been linked with a move to West Ham United and reports available in the media suggest that Remy is also highly interested to move to Premier League. His club OGC Nice has also reportedly accepted the reality that Remy has set his sight to somewhere else.

Remy recently said to the media, “I have always liked the Premier League and I have always dreamed of playing in England. When a club like West Ham is tempted, it is always exciting. But nothing is done, the clubs have to find an agreement and Nice asks for a lot of money.Without setting any ultimatums, I would like to know my future quite soon.”

Nice is also ready to let the France international move, but currently waiting for the right offer. Reports out in the media also suggest that West Ham could complete the signing very soon for a transfer fee around £12million.

Remy, at 23, has already shown his talent and potential as a future star and has recently made his international debut with France senior team. There are at least 3 reasons he should be desperate to move to West Ham United.

First of all, a move to West Ham United means he would get more exposure in the English media and it would increase his likelihood of getting lucrative sponsorship deals.

Secondly, couple of impressive seasons at West Ham could earn Remy attention from bigger clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United etc. The same way, he has now attracted the attention of West Ham United with some impressive performances over the last couple of seasons at Nice. Since joining Nice in 2008, Remy has scored 25 goals in 66 league appearances.

Finally, his transfer to West Ham could help him earn more attention from France national team coach. It is true that he has already played a match for France, but Loic Remy could not make it to the final World Cup squad of France. Impressive form with the Premier League club would help him cement his place in the France first eleven.
