Zen M25 with 72 days of standby time launched in India

Immediately after the announcement of a mobile handset with 67 days of standby time by Samsung, Zen Mobile launched its new Zen M25 handset with 72-days of standby time or 1,728 hours.

On the occasion, Deepesh Gupta, MD, Zen Mobile, said, “72 day battery back-up is one of the most unique features of M25. This phone would be extremely useful for people living in rural areas where long power failures are a common feature. Also other modes of charging mobile on the go like mobile charging points at public places and cars are still not very popular among people. M25 comes with popular multimedia features which are high in demand among different consumer segments. We are making extensive efforts to bring the best quality multimedia handsets at an affordable price for our consumers. We are also in the process of mounting our distribution channel to reach the masses which are driving the growth of this particular market segment.”


The Zen M25 is a dual-SIM handset which supports two GSM network SIM cards and it costs only Rs. 3,400. It supports both Hindi and English language.

The phone comes with a 2.4 inch TFT screen allowing users to enjoy high quality video and movies. It has a 1.3 megapixel camera.

The phone memory can store up to 500 contacts. It memory can be expanded up to 4GB via microSD card.

Other features include Bluetooth, FM recorder, FM radio, 3.5 mm jack. The Zen M25 comes with a 2500 mAh battery offering 16-hour talk time.
