Asus Introduced NX90 Laptop in India

Taiwan-based laptop maker, Asus, has launched its NX90 laptop in the Indian market. Aimed at the high-end users, the laptop comes up with some attractive features. With a price tag of Rs 1,31,999, the laptop would initially be available in the major cities like Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai.

Asus NX90 features 18.4-inch high definition LED backlit display. Powered by Intel Core i7 processor, the laptop also offers 8GB DDR3 RAM and 1TG 7200rpm hard disk. Moreover, besides a full-sized keyboard, it also provides dual touchpad for the users. That means there is a touchpad on either side of the keyboard.

Regarding the launch of Asus NX90 laptop, Alex Huang, the Country Head for System Business of Asus in India, said to the media, “With the NX90 we hope to give notebooks the world over a new definition and place. Initially, we would be marketing our product primarily in major metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.”

Asus designed the NX90 laptop with the help of David Lewis, the chief designer of Bang and Olufsen. Among other features the laptop has NVIDIA Geforce GT 335M graphics, a 2 mega pixel webcam and an amplifier.

Overall, Asus NX90 is a highly configured laptop that is not for general or basic users. The price seems to be a bit high considering India’s price-sensitive market. However, given its features, it looks to be a perfect one for the high-end users.
