Tata Indica V2 Turbomax has been announced

Tata announced Tata Indica V2 Turbomax, a new addition in Tata’s popular Indica series. The V2 Turbomax is a hatchback with lots of space in its category. Five passengers can easily fit in the car and it comes with a new BS4 compliant engine. The car will be available in DLE and DLS variants. It will be available in furnace red, magnesium gray, arctic silver and mint white.

The V2 Turbomax 3690mmx 1665mmx 1485mm and has a kerb weight of 1040 kg. The car has wheelbase of 2400mm and 165mm ground clearance. It has Rack and Pinion steering system and a turning radius of 4.9m. Fuel tank capacity is 37 litres.

The V2 Turbomax is fitted with a 475 IDI Turbo Intercooled Diesel engine with a maximum output of 71 PS@4500 rpm and a maximum torque of 135Nm@2500 rpm. It has 1405 cc 4 inline cylinders .

According to Tata, the V2 Turbomax comes with an ARAI certified mileage of 19 kmpl on highway roads and 14 kmpl on city roads.

The car is equipped with vacuum assisted, dual circuit, diagonal split hydraulic brakes, disc brakes and drum brakes.

Exterior features include clear lens headlamps and taillamps, clear lens side repeater lamps, wheel arch flairs and sill valence covers, chrome plated strip on hood, new front grille with chrome strip, new body colored bumpers, and wheel cap. Internal features include utility tray with coin holders, spot (reading) lamps, all four door operated cabin lamp, moulded roof lining & door trims, internal antenna, fabric lined seats, and parcel shelf.

Tata has not yet disclosed price of the car.
